Oceanium is very pleased to share that we have secured an Innovate UK Smart Grant. Our second Innovate UK Grant will enbale us to develop innovative food substitute ingredients include protein and fibre derived from sustainably sourced seaweed. As vegetarian and vegan diets are on the increase all around the world, the demand for plant-based food ingredients is off the charts. Increased awareness of the environmental cost of meat production, health benefits of plant-based diets and, of course, all the great new vegetarian/vegan products on offer have been cited in cultivating this every increasing food trend.
