Fucoxanthin, a compound found in brown seaweeds could help to treat one of the most common and aggressive forms of malignant brain tumour. The compound’s promising effects were developed by Iota Pharmaceuticals Ltd and The University of York, in collaboration with The University of Cambridge; as part of the EU-funded project GENIALG.
